A big vinaka vakalevu to the TFA leadership team for successfully holding our first AGM, since 2019, hosted last week at KayBee Farm. Since 2019, when TFA was first formed, so much has happened, both barriers and opportunities. We began our meet with farmers that were suggested by cluster members, highlighting the importance of relationships at the cluster level. Updates were provided including past and present activities, partnerships and funding. Thank you to the Ministry of Fisheries, Fiji for kindly accepting our invitation to enlighten us on the recent Aquaculture Development Plan, upcoming grants and events. Key points of discussion included, partnership with the Ministry on training, cluster strengthening, co-organised events, membership models and collective governance. We look forward to strengthening our association and our partnerships, to meet the needs of our members better.
