🌿 KOROSOMO HILL CLEAN-UP INITIATIVE

Community action. Environmental responsibility. A cleaner Fiji. 🌱🤝

Mr. Jonathan Batisarisari of the Waka Family, initiated a meaningful Korosomo Hill Clean-Up Initiative, bringing together organisations and the local community in a collective effort to care for and protect our environment.

The initiative received great support from the Ministry of Environment, Fiji Police Force, A K Hire Services, and the Korosomo Village community.

Representing the Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF), Mr. Arvind Chandra and Mr. Vijinesh Naidu joined the clean-up, contributing to this important community-led environmental initiative.

A heartfelt Vinaka Vakalevu to the Waka Family, our partner organisations and the Korosomo community for coming together and making a positive difference.

Together, we can keep our communities clean, our environment protected, and Fiji greener. 🌱🇫🇯

🤝 Donation Handover

The SCGF Sports and Social Club gratefully acknowledges the generous donation of essential healthcare and sanitary supplies made possible through the generous contributions of Bring a Smile NZ, Fiji Muslim League, Fiji Muslim FANCA Sports Federation, and FIANZ.

The donated items include:

Adult Diapers – Medium, Large and Extra Large
Bath Chairs
Commode Chairs
Sanitary Supplies

The items were formally handed over by Mr. Haroon to Mr. Rakesh Roshan, Treasurer, SCGF Sports and Social Club, in the presence of SCGF staff members Mr. Sagar Dayal, Mr. Anald Sharma, and Mr. Shikant Chand.

Today marks a milestone moment for the Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) as we proudly launch three groundbreaking tools aimed at modernizing services, embracing technology, and fostering inclusion across our farming communities!

Our Chairman - Mr. Marika Sedre Luveniyali delivered a powerful key message: "Institutions must move forward. Doing things simply because 'this is how we have always done it' belongs to the past."

We are thrilled to officially unveil:
1️⃣ Document Management System (DMS): Streamlining information, record-keeping, and real-time access for faster loan approvals and heightened accountability.

2️⃣ SCGF AI Chatbot: Embracing Artificial Intelligence to deliver instant, 24/7 access to information and customer support right at your fingertips.

3️⃣ GEDSI Framework (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion): Ensuring our policies, products, and services actively support men, women, youth, elderly farmers, and growers with special abilities.
