Serevi, widely celebrated as one of the greatest rugby players of all time, has achieved international acclaim for his electrifying performances and dedication to the sport. Serevi’s illustrious rugby career spans an impressive 21 years at the international level, making him a living legend in the sport. He remains the only player in the world to have competed in seven Rugby World Cups – four in sevens and three in fifteens. As captain, he led Fiji to two Rugby World Cup victories, being named the best player both times. His exceptional contributions to the game earned him a spot in the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2017 ( #57), further cementing his legacy as one of rugby’s all-time greats. He was also inducted into the first-ever Pacifica Rugby Hall of Fame. Moreover, Serevi played a pivotal role in representing Fiji at World Rugby and the International Olympic Committee, advocating for rugby to be included in the Olympics.
