🌱 A message of hope for our vanilla farmers🌱

To all our farmers who have been quietly working the land for years planting vanilla, nurturing it, and holding on even when support feels out of reach we see you.

Don’t be shy. ☺️ We’ve got you.🤝

If you feel left out or need assistance, please reach out to your nearest Agriculture Station so our team can come directly to you and provide the right sector support. No farmer should be left behind.

Vanilla has strong potential to become one of Fiji’s next big agricultural success stories, and with the right guidance and support, we can grow this together.
We’re also grateful to share that we’ve been featured in the news helping spread the message that vanilla is more than a crop; it’s an opportunity for sustainable income and growth for our rural communities.

A sincere thank you to all our dedicated farmers and to the Ministry of Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry for making this possible and standing with our farming communities.

Together, we grow. 🌿

👏🏽 A Successful Training Program for Vanilla Farmers This Harvesting Season! 🌱

Our 3-day training program was a great success, bringing together vanilla farmers to share experiences, discuss expectations, and learn the recommended practices needed to meet international standards for vanilla production and purchasing.

One of the highlights after the training was seeing a farmer from Rabi continue his vanilla journey by sharing his new knowledge with family members and teaching them how to plant vanilla. This is how we measure success not only by the individuals who attend the training, but by how they pass on their knowledge and inspire other farmers to become part of the vanilla industry.

We would like to thank the Ministry of Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry Fiji for their support and facilitation in helping strengthen and improve the capacity of vanilla farmers across Fiji.

🌿 Stay tuned as we continue to share updates and success stories from our vanilla farmers throughout Fiji!

🔥✨ The magic is happening! ✨🔥
This is the sweating process one of the most important stages in building premium quality vanilla 🌱💛
After harvesting and cooking, the vanilla beans are carefully wrapped and kept warm to begin developing that rich aroma, dark color, and signature flavor the world loves. Every step matters, and patience is key! 🙌🏾
From farm to premium quality vanilla :
The journey continues 🇫🇯🌿

🌱👨🏽‍🌾📚 Making every resource count and turning challenges into opportunities! 💪🏽✨
Hosting consultations with farmers means working with the resources available and making it work. Today marks Day 2 of our training, focusing on vanilla curing and understanding the important killing process. 🌿
We highlighted the importance of:
🌡️ Using the right temperature during the cooking process
🟤 Understanding the color changes in vanilla beans
🔥 Maintaining a warm environment for the critical 3-day curing process
Building knowledge and skills today helps improve quality and creates better opportunities for our farmers tomorrow. 🤝🌱💚

🌱✨ Off to our second vanilla training of the year! 🚜📚 And this one is just as important as the first. 💪🏽

In partnership🤝 with the Ministry of Agriculture, our goal is simple: helping farmers master the curing process to bring vanilla to its highest quality state🌿🖤. These farmers👨🏽‍🌾👩🏽‍🌾 are not new to vanilla farming; they already have the passion and experience. What many need is the technical knowledge and skills to properly cure vanilla and unlock its full value. 🔍📖✨That’s where we come in.

We 💚are proud to support and empower farmers to enhance the quality of their vanilla and produce a world-class product. 🌍🏆
Fiji may be a small dot on the map, but with dedication, quality, and hard work, we believe our vanilla fragrance can travel across continents even reaching the home of vanilla itself, Madagascar.🌎✈️🌺✨

🌿✨ Vanilla Symposium – Vanua Levu 2026 ✨🌿
This week was a huge success for our team!
We travelled to Vanua Levu and successfully delivered a 2-day Vanilla Symposium in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture — all with one clear strategy in mind:
👉 To build and strengthen the vanilla industry in Fiji.
And here we are!
Not just plans on paper anymore…
Not just conversations in meeting rooms…
But real action. Real implementation. Real scale. 🌱
We are moving forward together to enhance vanilla production in Fiji, empowering farmers, strengthening partnerships, and creating sustainable opportunities for growth.
The momentum has begun — and this is only the start! 💚

We are honoured to be featured in the news — not for recognition, but for the impact being made in the lives of our vanilla farmers.
Behind every headline are farmers who are working tirelessly to improve their quality, rebuild confidence in the industry, and strengthen their livelihoods. Through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and ongoing support, we are seeing renewed hope and commitment on the ground.

The work continues, and we remain committed to walking this journey together.

Farmers from Macuata and Cakaudrove gathered in Savusavu for a two‑day symposium focused on improving cultivation techniques and building resilience in one of the world’s most valuable spices.

🌿 Our Vanilla Has Finally Reached Its Destination! 🌍
Getting our natural vanilla out of the country was no easy journey. The process was hectic, with many strict procedures in place due to the ongoing infiltration of drugs into supply chains.
Drugs don’t just destroy lives and families — they also impact small businesses like ours that are simply trying to grow honestly and sustainably.
We’re grateful that our vanilla made it through, and we stand firm in saying no to drugs and yes to clean, ethical trade.

🌿 Vanilla Fertilization Training Success! 🌿

Vanilla fertilization is one of the trickiest parts of growing this high-value crop. To support our farmers, our team, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture (MPI section), hosted a hands-on workshop on manual fertilization techniques for vanilla.

We are pleased to share that the workshop was a great success, bringing together approximately 30 farmers – men and women – from the Lomaivuna sector who are eager to strengthen their skills and improve their vanilla production.

A big vinaka vakalevu to everyone who attended and contributed to this learning experience.

Together, we are growing knowledge and building stronger vanilla farming communities! 🌱✨
