Communications Fiji Limited (CFL), a longstanding champion of Fiji’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector, has officially announced a strategic partnership with the Knox Market Collective, under Knox Entertainment. This collaboration marks a shared commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs and strengthening the small business ecosystem in Fiji.

As part of this partnership, the CFL team will support the monthly Damodar Night Market—a vibrant event that has rapidly become the largest regular gathering of MSME vendors in the country. Hosted by the Knox Market Collective, the market showcases a diverse array of stalls featuring original art, handmade goods, jewelry, fashion, food, and fresh beverages with a carefully curated selection process to ensure that point of difference. The event continues to attract thousands of locals and visitors alike, spotlighting the creativity and resilience of Fiji’s small business community.

Ellana Kalounisiga of the Knox Market Collective shared her enthusiasm about the partnership:
“We are thrilled to work with the team from CFL, having collaborated with them on many events over the last decade. Their strong brand, awesome team and unwavering support are incredibly valued by our team and our vendors.”

The Damodar Night Market, hosted monthly at Damodar City in Suva, is a collaboration between Knox Market Collective and the Damodar Group. Div Damodar, CEO of the Damodar Group, stated:
“The monthly night market has surpassed expectations and we are very grateful to all who come and support the vendors. We believe in the future of the MSME sector in Fiji, so partnering with Knox Market Collective was a great way to show our commitment to seeing local vendors thrive. Our first month hosted 68 vendors and we are now at 115 each month. We welcome everyone to come and enjoy a great family event.”

Well-known Fijian musician Knox, whose creative leadership helped establish the Knox Market Collective, also expressed his appreciation:
“We always enjoy working with CFL, as we know they deliver quality in everything they do. I’m grateful to once again have them working with our team.”

With over a decade of experience supporting creative and community-driven markets, the Knox Market Collective, led by Taina Lewamasumasu and Jordan Waqavonovono, continues to provide high-impact platforms for MSMEs. In addition to the Damodar Night Market, they also host the Suva Bowling Club Market on the first Sunday of every month.

This partnership between CFL and Knox Market Collective underscores a shared vision—to see Fiji’s MSME sector not just survive, but flourish.
