The return of weekend getaway season calls for a proper list of restaurant addresses.

We really wanted to be in Milan for Salone del Mobile, but the IESSI team was stuck in Paris working on some (very exciting) projects.

So instead, we sent a disposable camera to Bar Pieno – the pop-up curated by Vicino Wine Club inside 6:AM’s “OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER” exhibition, where Frizzante was poured by the hands of Bar Pieno’s phenomenal hosts and .

We’ve just developed the roll, and what came back from behind the counter totally captures what we love most about this insane design week: a very cool, nonstop line-up of guest chefs, parties, and – our favorite part – lots of IESSI.

See you next year, Salone.

Sunday evenings don’t usually feel like this. But then again, Bitter Sunday isn’t your usual Sunday. 

Rojo opened its doors at 6pm and somewhere between the first cocktail and the third snack, the Sunday blues melted away. The bar was in the good hands of the genius Prajith and his crew, and the IESSI cocktail menu did what it was supposed to do: make us crave another round.

This month’s IESSI face is Pierre Touitou, one of the most beloved chefs in the French food scene.

A born-and-raised Parisian, Pierre brings a thoughtful, understated precision to everything he does. At 19 Saint-Roch, we love how the open kitchen sits at the heart of the restaurant, making for a dining experience that’s always as lively and welcoming as it is creative.

Naturally, we think his beautiful seasonal plates are always best enjoyed with a IESSI cocktail on the side.
