Spring has arrived at Bastoney! The weather is coming along nicely, just in time for the run up to Easter. This is a perfect excuse to stock up on both red and cremant🥂😎🍇

The first part of the 2024 harvest is done! So far we have collected grapes for our Clairet and white wine!🥂Despite hail and some challenges, our hopes are high for the 24 vintage. Next up is harvesting Merlot grapes for our red wine, around medio September.🍇🍷🤞🏻

The merlot grapes have finally started to shift color🍇This usually occurs around mid July, however, due to an extremely rainy and cold spring/early summer, it’s a few weeks behind schedule!

Hopefully the boars continue to eat apples and roots, staying away from the 🍇😅🤞🏻

The cremant 🍇 are maturing nicely! Luckily we avoided frost in the spring and mildew. Now we are preparing the vineyard for the season’s first harvest - blanc noir, followed by cremant in likely late August🍾🍇
