Happy New Year!
And what a year has past. We had a great year last year and all thanks to you! Thank you for all the endless support.
We wish every one of you a bright year ahead. May 2021 bring positive change everywhere.
We are still in deep hibernation for another month or so. Quite a change from our high summer months where we're in constant movement 70+hours a week.
Looking forward to gearing up with this increased daylight we have ahead of us.

Good misty morning to everyone.
Wow, it really abruptly turned deep for us here in the .. That snow followed by the deep freeze we were in for about a week really shut down the farm for us this year, instantaneous. As well as putting us into hibernation mode.
When the old machine (our bodies) does a full-stop this time of year it's hard to get the momentum going again!
It's nice to have a little distance from the farm and feel like a civilian again, not just a farmer with endless days ahead.
But, we're back! Someone has to plant the garlic!
That said, we are selling the remaining produce we have via the -they have our supply of fresh , leeks and jalapenos and at -we will keep them socked as long as we can with greens and whatever else we have.
If you want to buy directly from us we have cylindrical beets, the sweetest carrots, and garlic (already separated and ready to plant, Red Russian) if you are interested, please send us an email we're back online!

Maybe the longest message I've ever written...
But an endless thank you to everyone who made this year possible. What a great year despite all the curve balls it threw.

Pick up on Tuesday at the farm between 3-430pm (if you cannot make the time, just let us know and we'll sort something out) pick up in Nelson on Wednesday between 5-530 (we've changed the time by a half hour due to lack of daylight, but we'll stay and make sure you get your veggies!)
Brrrr, it's cold outside! How that you're staying warm and well.
We're finally able to have time for ourselves now that fall is deeply set in. I was out running to the Glade ferry and we found the cutest salamander (newt) not sure what this guy is other than, cute! Thanks for being in our garden!

Good morning. It is a cool Tuesday morning, and it is with the change of seasons that we announce this will be our final Farm Stand of 2020.
We are losing light and heat rapidly, we are doing the final picking on some crops, we are running low on staple crops such as winter, squash, onions, potatoes and all because this was such a great year made successful by you.
We will run our online ordering platforms until the end of October. If you are not part of our email list, please fire us an email with your interest and we will happily add you.

Otherwise, you can get a varied selection of our veggies at Evergreen natural foods and the Kootenay Co-Op.
We look forward to seeing you out today and just want you to know how much we appreciate all the effort you've made come out and get your local veggies!

Good morning, Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Our pre-orders of veggies is live and the ordering link is here https://bit.ly/3lH5M8b. You may run out of veggies after this weekend!
Ordering ends midnight tonight.

This is one National holiday that I understand and I really can get down with. There are no bunnies with eggs, no burly man in a suit flying through the sky, this weekend we celebrate a tangible .
Now as a vegetable farmer, the harvest is real. This is the time of year where we gain a little bit more time for ourselves, partly due to the lack of light, the looming Frost and full autumn that will come, the wrapping up of the season and the harvest in general.
We hope that you enjoy your dinner with loved ones.

Good morning, it's Tuesday and we have our farmstand open 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. today. We hope to see you out!
After today, we estimate another two more Farm stands and that should take us into the third week of October.
We have The usual suspect vegetables making appearance at the farmstand today.
Next week will bring in bulk bag of carrots, beets, and whatever else we can put together for you.
Thanks so much for taking time out of your day, your week and this season to eat your local veggies and come out and support us.

Good Morning.
We may or may not have had a frost last night, the morning dew is heavy and quite beautiful. Regardless, we were, mostly, prepared and we have veggies today.
This is the last of the summer crops and we are transitioning to all fall crops and vibes around the farm. October is right around the corner and we feel it.

Let us talk fresh local ginger, we have it! and the plants are just getting bigger, so many tops and greens and rosy ginger roots. We also have pears, the tastiest Bartlett pears.
And not on the list Radishes...

Hope to see you all today! 3-6pm at the farmstand.
You are all a big dill to us and we appreciate you from our heads to our tomatoes!
