Organic Vineyard and Micro Brewery. They live in the estate farmhouse with their two children, Zachary and Sophie-Tor.

In August 1994 Sarah and David Meakin moved from the UK after buying a five-hectare vineyard along with 30 hectares of cereal land in the limestone hills of Quercy National Park overlooking the beautiful hilltop bastide village of Puylaroque. Over the past 19 years they have planted a further three hectares of vines and now produce approximately 25000 bottles of award-winning wines every year.

Set up and chomping at the bit ready for an early start tomorrow,still can’t get my head round picking a month early!! That in agricultural terms is enormous and in that brings new problems to solve,ie the grapes getting too hot ,lucky we have the chiller now because when we started it could be quite a problem some years!!!
