In 1725, the Irishman Thomas Barton settled in Bordeaux, from where he shared his passion and love for wine with his friends. In 1802, Hugh Barton, grandson of Thomas Barton, and the French shipper Daniel Guestier, enabled people all over the world (including future President Thomas Jefferson in the USA…), to know the Barton & Guestier wine experience. Today, Barton & Guestier continues to be a fa

En 1725, l’irlandais Thomas Barton s’installa à Bordeaux d’où il partagea son amour pour le vin avec ses amis. En 1802, son petit fils Hugh Barton, associé à Daniel Guestier permit au monde entier (y compris à Thomas Jefferson, futur Président des Etats-Unis…) de connaître l’expérience des vins Barton & Guestier. Aujourd’hui, Barton & Guestier continue d’être une grande maison de vins à Bordeaux avec des personnes dévouées travaillant le vin avec passion et partageant celle-ci avec tous les passionnés du vin sur chaque continent.
