In 1802, Hugh Barton, grandson of Thomas Barton, and the French shipper Daniel Guestier, enabled people all over the world (including future President Thomas Jefferson in the USA…), to know the Barton & Guestier wine experience. En 1725, l’irlandais Thomas Barton s’installa à Bordeaux d’où il partagea son amour pour le vin avec ses amis. En 1802, son petit fils Hugh Barton, associé à Daniel Guestier permit au monde entier (y compris à Thomas Jefferson, futur Président des Etats-Unis…) de connaître l’expérience des vins Barton & Guestier.
