London to Dover, across the Channel and into Calais in a small Peugeot e-208 with around 200 km of real motorway range.

On this day in 1066, William the Conqueror won the Battle of Hastings, 960 years ago.
The tapestry that tells the whole story is on display at the British Museum right now, with the next batch of tickets released on 21 October.

You won't either, as long as you stay within your allowance. We hand you the tax-free form in store, you just scan it at the terminal on your way home. Nothing to declare.
Some paperwork really is optional. 🍷

If William the Conqueror crossed the Channel today, how much could he legally bring back tax-free?
