Photographer Alexandra Catiere set up her view camera in the middle of the Château Palmer vineyards for the fourth edition of the INSTANTS residency, where she followed the passage of time by superimposing layered images like layers of paint, capturing the vast and beautiful self-evidence of nature that survives the generations of men and women who have passed through it.

Launched in 2023 with the support of its historic partner Leica, INSTANTS is an artistic adventure through which Château Palmer affirms its support for contemporary photographic creation. After Paul Cupido, Henrike Stahl and SMITH, Alexandra Catiere is the fourth resident invited to photographically interpret this place inhabited by the living and memory.

A selection of images from this residency will be presented in preview at the Clémentine de la Féronnière gallery in Paris from March 17 to 21, 2026.

La photographe Alexandra Catiere a planté sa chambre au milieu des vignes de Château Palmer pour la quatrième édition de la résidence INSTANTS, où elle remonte le fil du temps en superposant les strates, les images, comme des couches de peinture, saisissant l’ample et belle évidence de la nature qui survit aux différentes générations d’hommes et de femmes qui l’ont traversée.

After Paul Cupido, Henrike Stahl and SMITH, Alexandra Catiere is the fourth resident invited to photographically interpret this place inhabited by the living and memory.

A selection of images from this residency will be presented in preview at the Clémentine de la Féronnière gallery in Paris from March 17 to 21, 2026. The works will then be exhibited at the Leica Gallery Paris on Rue Boissy d’Anglas, starting in April 2026. An artist's book will be published in spring by the(M) éditions.

ACT x PALMER EDITION III: TRINITY

“There was not a hint of stress as they got to work. In a sign of the how naturally and easily the next three days of recording would unfold, the very first take of There Will Never Be Another You, which opened the session, was chosen to conclude the album”

TRINITY was recorded by pianist Iiro Rantala, double bassist Kaisa Mäensivu, and drummer Morten Lund at Château Palmer in late spring 2025. Released on ACT Music, the album is now available on CD, LP and digital formats. A special limited “Edition III” pressed on 180-gram audiophile vinyl has been produced in a limited edition of 500 copies.

TRINITY marks the third collaboration between Château Palmer and the legendary German label ACT.

This is the story of a restaurant as an apotheosis. The estate’s dishes and wines come together in a resounding symphony at the end of a walking tour, composed with the unique characteristics of a wine-growing ecosystem like no other.
