In the beautiful sundrenched tranquil village of Cardan near Bordeaux, France overlooked by its 12th century church lies a small Cabernet Franc vineyard. As building zones threatened to change the village into a town and take away its rural heritage, an Australian family has stepped forward. In partnership with the local community, Paradise Rescued has begun a process of sustainability to maintain

this piece of rural paradise and produce a fine high quality organic hand crafted classic Bordeaux red wine.

Whilst our Merlot vineyard block continues to consume our mental and physical energy, quietly just a few metres away the Cabernet is getting on with the business of producing beautiful organic grapes.

Such a motivation to see it take shape, give it a small amount of love and let nature take care of the rest. The quiet power of regenerative organic viticulture.
