What a fabulous weekend it was cooking up a storm for Sue Christie's family and friends in an idyllic setting with sensational views of Aubeterre! Thank you!

"There are not enough superlatives to give justice to the food we ate with Reza, simply delicious is not enough. Our friends were blown away by each course, each plate of beautifully executed dishes… layer upon layer of flavours combining to make mouth watering dishes to die for. Reza is a genius in my eyes for his creativity and passion and dedication to his art of food. We were blown away by everything. We all loved having the experience of Reza cooking for us in our home. The hours he puts into it is beyond anything we could have imagined and we cannot thank him enough. The evening was more than just a dining experience but a discovery of Reza’s world and knowledge gleaned over the years and it was an absolute delight and pleasure to share an evening with this absolutely darling man."

Canapés

Sweet potato and goats cheese samosas with a tomato and ginger chutney.

Lamb Koftas with dried cherries cumin and walnuts served with a mint chilli chutney

Spinach falafels cooked with red onions cumin and allspice with a tahini sumac and sesame dressing

Mains For the Buffet

Persian roasted chicken thighs cooked with pomegranate molasses with sumac and roasted red onions.

Prawn salad with grapefruit toasted coconut and coriander with crispy shallots with a soy and sesame dressing

Duck Leg Kebabs with peanut chutney and pickled cucumber served with parathas.

Roasted cauliflower with pine nuts and tarragon with a tahini and soy sauce dressing (V)

Roasted cubes of aubergines with raisins pine nuts, capers mint and basil.

Goats milk labne with carrot, beetroot and pomegranate salad with a pomegranate molasses dressing with mint.

Chickpea salad cooked with cumin and red onion with fresh coriander and feta.

Dessert

Hibiscus poached pears with an almond tart.

Raspberry and chocolate cake with raspberry coulis and cream.

Just to inform you all, there will be no takeaways next week as i'll be in Denmark cooking up a storm.
Orders for April can be placed on the 19th for collection on the 22nd.

April’s Takeaway Menu



Elaichi Murgh

Chicken Thighs cooked with a combination of black peppercorns cardamom and cloves in yoghurt and coconut milk. 18€

Khubani Pork

Marinated pork cooked with spices, onions, tomatoes with pureed apricots and chillies 19.50€

Moghlai Moong Dal

Green moong lentils cooked with spices, yoghurt, caramelised onions , flavoured with dried fenugreek leaves and fresh coriander with butter and cream. 8€

Cabbage Thoran

Stir=fried cabbage with carrots and coconut tempered with cumin, black must**d seeds, chillies and curry leaves 7.50€

Harra Pyaz Pulao

Rice cooked with leeks flavoured with dried fenugreek and dill leaves tempered with cumin seeds 6€
