A fun little project with some friends at on Île de Ré: creating a bespoke peppermint liqueur!
It’s bright, fresh, and minty—perfect as a digestif after a Christmas meal or to line up for spring, served with soda water for a light, refreshing aperitif. Its vibrant menthol notes are balanced by the herbal chlorophyll that gives peppermint its incredible depth of flavour.
Before synthetic medicines, peppermint was a vital ingredient in many herbal remedies. In France, its cultivation was historically centered in Milly-la-Forêt, near Paris. Today, only a handful of growers continue this tradition—and we’re proud to source our peppermint from there.
