Nous avons reçu le Pr Laetitia Padovani, onco-radiothérapeute et chef du service de radiothérapie à l'hôpital enfants de La Timone à Marseille et Virginie NEGRI Déléguée Générale de Phoceo - Fonds de dotation de l'AP-HM suite à l'appel aux dons de APHM (Assistance Publique - Hopitaux de Marseille) pour financer l'achat d'une machine révolutionnaire dans le traitement des cancers des enfants, .
Un accélérateur de particules couplé à un IRM qui va changer le destin de milliers d'enfants. Mais cette innovation technologique, qui ferait de Marseille la seule ville française à se doter d'une telle machine pour transformer le traitement des cancers pédiatriques, coûte plus de dix millions d'euros.
