Because I am finding it increasingly difficult to actually do what I want to do on Facebook for some ungodly reason, I am sharing this post from our sister site of
“ La Femme du Fermier”

It would have been easier to share the post directly from page to page but alas FB has other ideas!

So here goes……

Come along and soak up the fabulous welcoming atmosphere and the summer time vibes, meet your hosts Patrick and Joka, grab yourselves a drink from the bar and sit down and enjoy one of our delicious Burgers, serving Angus Beef Burgers, Chicken Breast fillet burgers and vegetarian Burgers …. Not forgetting the side dishes too!

😢 THE END OF AN ERA 😢

Today was an extremely hard and emotional day, as we packed the final boxes into the van and handed over the keys

We would like to take this opportunity to extend huge thanks to Bruno and Sascha for allowing us this amazing chapter in our journey and for entrusting us with your property.
And to the villagers for putting up with our poor attempts at French and supporting us

It is with tears in eyes that we officially sign La Femme du Fermier Gastropub out of Le Vigeant

🩷 THANK YOU 🩷

Sometimes it’s difficult to find the words to express the gratitude that you feel and this is one of them

Yesterday saw our final day at La Femme du Fermier Gastropub with a few drinks.

I can honestly say, hand on heart that I was only expecting a handful of people but I was amazed by how many joined us in our farewell

All your kind words are truly humbling and we can leave knowing that we have successfully served our purpose in bringing you quality foods and drinks in a fabulous friendly, inviting atmosphere.

Within our time, we brought you Themed nights, music nights, quiz nights, Curry-Oke nights, Breakfast club, Sunday Roasts, pizza nights, Fish & Chip suppers and everyday run of the meal pub nights…along with a few disasters with technical hitches, electrical blackouts and power cuts 🤣

You brought to us, smiles, laughter, fun, tears, fantastic memories, stories and friendship.
We have celebrated and mourned together as every close knit community pub should do and feel honoured to have been able to do this.

We can not leave without mentioning a few people who have gone above and beyond in helping through the amazing highs and the heartbreaking lows that our time has brought and we can not thank you enough.
So extra big shout out to, Nicky and James Kittle, Gail Povey, Matthew Johnson, Mum Jean Swift

We are not saying goodbye, simply see you later and hope you will continue to join us as we write the next chapter of La Femme du Fermier
But for now it’s au Bientôt and Bon soirée

🍳 THE FINAL SATURDAY BREAKFAST CLUB 🍳

Now this is a tough one 😢

We have loved the Saturday Morning Breakfast Club as much as you have.
This Saturday morning brings our last one at La Femme du Fermier GastroPub in Le Vigeant
Not only that but our final cooking day before we close our doors 😢

THE GOOD NEWS
We will still be serving our renowned Full English Breakfast and more! 😃

BOOKING is preferable just in case we have a seriously mad day…we don’t want to disappoint any of you
