Les cuvées "Spécial Club"
Lorsque la Champagne a la chance d’avoir une année exceptionnelle et que les «vins clairs» sont prometteurs et peuvent être millésimés, le Club décide de pouvoir élaborer des cuvées “Spécial Club”. Librement, il compose sa propre Cuvée à partir des raisins récoltés sur son domaine. A lui de cultiver la typicité, d’exalter les caractères de ses vins et du millésime. En eff

et, chaque Cuvée “Spécial Club” est soumise à un jury sourcilleux composé de professionnels (œnologues et élaborateurs). Le “Clubman” doit en effet se conformer aux exigences des statuts et du règlement qui prévoient deux dégustations de contrôle :
• La première consiste à un examen de l’assemblage en “vins clairs” avant la mise en bouteille.
• La seconde à autoriser la commercialisation de la Cuvée à l’issue de la période de vieillissement en bouteille (3 ans minimum après la mise en bouteille). Seules les cuvées qui ont franchi avec succès les épreuves sont jugées dignes d’être proposées à l’amateur de champagne. Ces Cuvées dont la signature est notre fleuron original sont donc beaucoup plus que de simples Cuvées Millésimées... Elles représentent la quintessence de chaque domaine sur un millésime donné. Pour le consommateur, c’est un véritable «label de qualité» pour ne pas se tromper.

Les Mémoires du CLUB: 55 years of excellence celebrated through a historic tasting and the first book dedicated to the History of LE CLUB

More than fifty years after its founding, LE CLUB celebrated its history during an exceptional evening held at La Farm , bringing together its members, former Clubmen, and the godfathers and godmothers of the Spécial Club cuvées. Entitled « Les Mémoires du CLUB » (LE CLUB’s celebration of its shared history), the event paid tribute to the association’s heritage through two unprecedented highlights: the presentation of the very first book dedicated Michael Bech Bendix to the history of LE CLUB, written by Michael Bech Bendix, and the exceptional opening of LE CLUB’s Vinothèque, featuring an exclusive tasting of nearly 50 Spécial Club vintages, spanning from 1973 to 2020.

The book is available in English from LE CLUB’s Boutique Boutique Tresors De Champagne and from all members LE CLUB.
