On a vendangé les clairettes aujourd’hui 25/09 - au moins 2 semaines en avance et pendant le 3ieme journée d’automne et a 27 dégrées. 😓
We harvested the clairette today - at least two weeks ahead of normal, at 27 degrees despite it being the third day of autumn

So surprising that the harvest started on the 26th August at Chateau Unang we have made the front page of the newspaper VaucluseMatin_ - I imagine The Times and Sunday Times and The New York Times will be picking up the story! (Normal start date around mid September) Half days at the moment as grapes (and pickers!) coming in very hot.

C’est tellement surprenant que les vendanges aient commencé le 26 août au Château Unang que nous avons fait la une du journal VaucluseMatin_. J’imagine que The Times and Sunday Times et The New York Times vont s’emparer de l’histoire ! (La date habituelle de début des vendanges se situe vers la mi-septembre.)
