We had Ash and his son Ethan over with us last week, and what an absolute belter of a session they had!

It was their very first time fishing over in France, but you’d never have guessed it—these guys absolutely knew what they were doing from the off.

The stats speak for themselves:

🐟 23 Carp landed between them
🎉 NEW PBs for both Ash and Ethan!

🎣 Return of the Lads & A Cracking Week at La Vilotte! ☀️
It was absolute pleasure welcoming back Dan and Eduardo last week, along with their mate Matt, who was making his first-ever trip out to L’etang de la Vilotte!
To say conditions were tough would be an understatement. We were pinned down by blistering heat all week, with temperatures soaring into the late 30s. But the lads dug deep, figured out the tactics, and absolutely smashed it considering the baking weather.

Between them, they managed an incredible 41 runs and landed 31 hard-fighting carp! 🏆 Absolute top angling in those conditions, boys.

It was brilliant catching up with you all, sharing a few laughs, and watching Matt get his first taste of La Vilotte magic. Safe travels home, and we’re already buzzing to welcome you all back next year! 🇫🇷✈️

🎣 Back in the Heat: Tony & Alan’s 2-Week Session! ☀️

We were absolutely delighted to welcome back Tony and Alan for another 2-week session starting on June 13th!

Mother Nature certainly threw everything she had at them this time around. We hit some scorching temperatures well into the 40s, which made the fishing incredibly tough going. To add to the challenge, the carp decided to have another three attempts at spawning!

Despite the brutal heat and distracted fish, the guys dug deep and fished hard, managing to land 8 fish between them. That is a fantastic result given the conditions—brilliant angling, lads! 🏆

As always, it was an absolute pleasure having you both back at L’etang de la Vilotte.

A special note from Nicki: A HUGE thank you to the guys for fixing her fly screen! You’re absolute superstars! 🛠️🦟

First time visiting us last week, and Kris absolutely smashed it using UNION JACK BAITS Tiger nut—landing an incredible 15 carp, including a mirror weighing in at 51lb! 🤯💪

​We were absolutely delighted to welcome Dave back to the lake last week. Mother Nature decided to throw a bit of everything at him—we had a real mixture of weather conditions throughout the week—but Dave didn't let that slow him down.
​He worked hard, adapted to the changing conditions, and managed to land an impressive 10 out of 16 runs! 🏆🔥
