At GÓNGU Restaurant, we hosted a day that brought together a professional environment with the vibrant atmosphere of a bar.

We were honored to welcome Daniyel Jones () – Global Brand Ambassador for Angostura and one of the most prominent figures in the international cocktail community.

During the day, he led a masterclass for industry professionals, sharing his experience and vision for the modern bar industry.

In the evening, he stepped behind the bar at GÓNGU, engaging with guests and crafting his signature cocktails based on Angostura rum.

Events like these reflect the direction we have chosen—to bring world-class personalities to GÓNGU and create a space where culture, flavor, and people come together in one shared experience.

Barcelona was chosen by The House of Angostura as the setting to unveil in Spain the new image of its premium rum range: Angostura 15-Year-Old Special Reserve 1787, Founders Reserve 1824, Grand Reserve 1919, 7-Year-Old, and 3-Year-Old. Featuring a bolder, more vibrant identity deeply connected to the spirit of Trinidad & Tobago. 🦋

The celebration began with the official presentation of the new range led by Daniyel Jones (), Global Brand Ambassador of Angostura, and continued with an exclusive tasting 🥃 and a guest shift at Kahala Barcelona ( ) alongside Daniyel Jones and Oriol Elías ( ), Brand Ambassador for the brand in Spain.

The experience concluded this morning with an exclusive masterclass at Escolà (), bringing together some of the city’s leading head bartenders to discover the origin, production process, and versatility of the range behind the bar.

Three events, one shared vision, and a legacy that continues to evolve without losing its essence. 🇹🇹
