On 22 July, we were invited to delve into Burgundy for a wine tasting journey, dedicated to selecting the finest wines for our clients.

We began our tasting journey at the Louis Max winery in Nuits-Saint-Georges, where we unanimously praised their exceptional white wine, truly a gem🥂.

Following this, we enjoyed authentic Burgundy cuisine and wine at the Premnord restaurant in Domaine Prieure Roch, accompanied by the beautiful vineyard scenery🍇, deepening our understanding of the local terroir.

In the afternoon, we visited our partner winery Nuitton Beaunoy’s production facilities🥰, tasting over ten meticulously crafted Burgundy wines🍷. Our discussions with the winemakers provided us with deeper insights into the winemaking process.

This trip not only allowed us to experience the unique terroir and winemaking techniques of Burgundy firsthand but also further solidified PZ WINE's commitment to quality selection👑. Every bottle of wine we offer is a carefully chosen gift for our clients.

Château Cheval Blanc is a wine estate located in Saint-Émilion in Gironde. In AOC Saint-Émilion-Grand-Cru, it is one of the four estates, along with Château Ausone, Château Pavie and Château Angélus, to have been classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé A in the 2012 Saint-Émilion wine classifications.

The Cheval Blanc estate is on the edge of Pomerol, so the soil of the vineyard has a large proportion of gravel on a subsoil of alluvium from the Quaternary. The Cheval Blanc grape varieties are composed of 52% Cabernet Franc, 43% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, which is quite rare for a Saint-Émilion.

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is an 85 ha1 wine estate located in Pauillac in Gironde. Located in AOC Pauillac, it is classified as a second grand cru in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855.
The unique variety of grapes and its 12 hectares of vineyards in Saint-Julien give Château Beauchamp wines a different character than other wineries in the Pauilla region. Complexity, elegance and extraordinary ageing potential are characteristic that can be felt in every vintage produced by the winery. The bouquet aroma is dominated by aromas of plant flowers, mixed with notes of blackcurrant, violet, licorice and cinnamon. On the palate, the tannins appear mature and soft, showing a strong and stable structure, very soft, with a perfect balance and a long-lasting aftertaste.

Château Margaux, archaically La Mothe de Margaux, is a wine estate of Bordeaux wine, and was one of five wines to achieve Premier cru (first growth) status in the Bordeaux Classification of 1855. The estate's best wines are very expensive, with a bottle of Château Margaux grand vin reaching over $1,000. The estate is located in the commune of Margaux on the left bank of the Garonne estuary in the Médoc region, in the département of Gironde, and the wine is delimited to the AOC of Margaux.

Château Clerc Milon is a winery in the Pauillac appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of eighteen Cinquièmes Crus (Fifth Growths) in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
Château Clerc Milon has 41 hectares (100 acres) of vineyards in Mousset and around Milon, planted to 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Carmenère, and with a planting density of 10 000 vines per hectare.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is a winery in the Saint-Julien appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is also the name of the red wine produced by this property. The wine produced here was classified as one of fifteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
The estate Château Ducru-Beaucaillou was purchased by Francois Borie in 1941 and has remained in the family since then.

Château Cos d'Estournel is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. It is also the name of the red wine produced by this property. The wine produced here was classified as one of fifteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.

The name Cos refers to a "hill of pebbles" in Gascon dialect and the name Cos d'Estournel was given in 1810 by Louis-Gaspard d'Estournel.
From a 100 hectare estate, the vineyard area extends 70 hectares (170 acres), divided into 30 parcels, primarily composed of the grape varieties of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, with minor cultivation of Cabernet Franc and Petit verdot that appears to participate little in the modern production.

Until the nineteenth century, the Domaine de Léoville was one of the largest and oldest crus in the Médoc. It stretched from the vineyard of Château Beychevelle to Château Latour in Pauillac. It has been divided into three parts:

Château Léoville Barton
Château Léoville Poyferré
Château Léoville Barton appeared in 1826, when the Irishman Hugh Barton bought part of the Léoville vineyard.

Nous étions heureux de visiter Le château Latour. Le château Latour est un domaine viticole de 90 hectares situé dans le Haut-Médoc sur la commune de Pauillac, produisant du vin sous l'appellation du même nom. C'est un premier grand cru classé de Bordeaux selon la classification officielle des vins de Bordeaux de 1855.Il partage cette rare distinction avec le Château Margaux, le Château Lafite Rothschild, le Château Mouton Rothschild et le Château Haut-Brion.
