Un regard sérieux sur le mahua, le feni, l'arrack et le toddy : ce qu'ils représentent pour les communautés qui les produisent, ce que la loi coloniale leur a pris, et ce qu'il faut réellement pour les faire revivre.
Ce qui compte le plus pour nous se trouve à la fin. Récolter les fleurs ne suffit pas. Les communautés doivent maîtriser la filière, et non seulement l'alimenter.

It's a serious look at mahua, feni, arrack and toddy: what they mean to the communities who make them, what colonial law took from them, and what it actually takes to bring them back.
The part that matters most to us comes at the end. Collecting the flowers isn't enough. Communities should control the supply chain, not just supply it.
