Tomatoes, Chicory and Chicken- because it’s sometimes time to fire up your Kamado Joe- and get bold with the herbs and garlic, and have the ideal dinner for a warm day. Hope we can hang on to this weather ☀️

🔥 Can we have barbecue season properly yet? Cooked this Cajun Chicken, Corn and Pepper 🍗 🌽 🫑 on the Kamado Joe between showers, and had them with a Caesar salad (with added avocado 🥑)

A great day celebrating our awesome Year 11 students’ time at school, as they get ready to absolutely ace their exams. (For my part it’s been an absolute pleasure- although I think it might be boring come September) … Slightly hungry afterwards though to be fair so steak sandwich it is. Nice bit of Cotes Du Rhone to go with it. 🥩 🍷 🥖 🥗

🍝 🦐 I had a glass of exceptional Rhône Valley white with this pasta, which is itself amazing. Sometimes self care is pulling the cork and eating the pasta. Cheers Keith for the drink and music inspiration. 👨‍🍳🥂

👨‍🍳 🦵 🩼 Been out of action a little this weekend thanks to a calf tear, which is thankfully healing nicely. Managed to walk well enough to make these snickerdoodles though so it’s not all bad 🍪

That is a tasty burger. Triple stacked and steamed under my new cloches. Last weekend’s “treat” meal and it was absolutely the one.
