Pizza time again. The Kamado Joe UK DoJoe still delivering the real magic. But honestly the secret best part is putting half of this lot in the fridge to have as breakfast. Mrs Food with Ben’s favourite pizza topping is currently Serrano Ham, Ricotta, Walnuts and Blackberries with a drizzle of honey. She’s a good judge of pizza toppings and an even better judge of men if you ask me.

Spending my weekend getting wet and inevitably cold, so having a delicious dinner to help prepare. I think I’ve hit the peak of steak sandwiches and if you want to argue you can try. 🥩 🥖 🍷 👌

How many more Saturday evenings like this will we have in 2026? Used it wisely for a Pizza and W**e night… the autumn twist is obviously the blackberries on pizza- they bring a zing and a touch of sweetness and just like the figs (also featured) I’ll defend fruit on pizza forever 🍕probably won’t be trying banana though…

🚗 Lovely trip up to Shropshire to nosy at Ludlow Food Festival Festival and try some delicious bites- including these pies and ciders, and the midlands’ w**e production efforts (some very respectable 🍾) and an overdue trip to Taj Mahal Restaurant for some genuinely exquisite curries with the family. (Four of us also achieved 5th place in Little Wenlock Village quiz, not to brag)

What a summer 🥳 glad to have had such an awesome time, particularly travelling around and seeing everything ✈️ 🚗 🏕️ 🏨 also discovered some amusing sausages and that French people also have Les Beans and Sausages even though they make such a fuss about their food culture… 🇫🇷 … they do however make a very agreeable bottle of w**e 🍷 🍾 🥂 hope you all had an awesome summer too 😁

Tonight it’s Goat’s cheese, Figs, some leaves and some of this exceptional bread they have everywhere here. If you look carefully you can also see the w**e tasting Rosés for tonight- the one in the burgundy style bottle is delicious and the one in the Bordeaux style bottle is €2 for a reason.

What are your favourite burger flavours? There’s a very cool event coming up, so I’m doing some highly important and also delicious testing- trying not to give too much away but it is difficult when one of the photos is an open burger. 🍔 😎 👌 🔥

I’m not saying that these pizzas encouraged the universe to help England to victory last night, but we don’t know they didn’t. We’ll never actually know, but deep down we will all hold a suspicion that it’s the case. Ham, Ricotta and Blackberry on one, and Goats cheese and chilli jam on the other.
