Day 2 of and what a day it was

An intimate six-hour immersion with private tour, extraordinary vintages, and a lunch that felt nothing short of magical.

A surprise pour of the 2000 vintage set the tone… followed by magnums of Grande Cuvée Rosé at the table. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better,
a 2006 Clos d’Ambonnay, generously shared by .

Two stunning finds, two stories to tell! Tasting side by side the 2000 and 2004 vintages of Boizel's unique tête de cuvée is a rare treat. The 2000 is full-bodied, sunny, and profound with incredible depth, while the 2004 is bright, lighter, and sweeter. Both aged to perfection for 16 years on lees and Pinot dominant, showcasing style. Can you imagine getting one of these vintages in our exclusive champagne club? Which one would you choose?

This week, we are spotlighting one of our favorite Cap Classique producers: Pieter Ferreira of South Africa.

Known in the wine world as Mr. and Mrs. Bubbles, Ann and Pieter Ferreira founded their boutique Cap Classique label in 2012, building on decades of expertise in Méthode Cap Classique. Their wines have been featured in our Champagne Club and remain a fan favorite.

We will be heading to South Africa this February to take our Fizz family behind the scenes and see Pieter Ferreira in action. Stay tuned for exclusive behind-the-scenes moments.
