🇫🇷 Le saviez-vous ? Les moutons constituent un moyen passif de limiter le risque de gel. Pendant l’hiver, ils entretiennent l’herbe et laissent un sol plus nu, qui emmagasine davantage de chaleur et sèche plus rapidement au printemps. Ils contribuent également à enrichir naturellement nos vignes en matière organique. Ils doivent toutefois être retirés au bon moment : dès l’apparition des bourgeons, ceux-ci deviennent plus attractifs pour eux que l’herbe.
🇬🇧 Did you know? Sheep are a passive way to help reduce the risk of frost. During winter, they graze the grass and leave the soil more bare, allowing it to store more heat and dry faster in spring. They also naturally enrich our vineyards with organic matter. They must, however, be removed at the right time: as soon as the buds appear, they become more attractive to the sheep than the grass.
