Dans les chais du Château Bélair-Monange, certains détails architecturaux sont le fruit d’un véritable travail d’ingénierie. Dans le passage menant à la winery, les panneaux de béton texturé ont été réalisés grâce à un procédé de fraisage numérique puis de moulage. Le motif, inspiré d’une gravure d’Albrecht Dürer de 1504 — Joachim and the Angel — a d’abord été modélisé puis sculpté avec une extrême précision pour créer les matrices.
Après de nombreux essais, le coffrage final a été coulé directement sur place afin d’obtenir ce relief subtil et cette texture singulière dans le béton.
Une rencontre entre technologie, savoir-faire et architecture, où la matière devient support d’expression.

In the cellars of Château Bélair-Monange, certain architectural details are the result of true engineering work. In the passage leading to the winery, the textured concrete panels were created using a process that combines digital milling and casting.
The pattern, inspired by Albrecht Dürer’s 1504 engraving Joachim and the Angel, was first modeled and then sculpted with extreme precision to produce the molds.
After numerous trials, the final formwork was poured directly on site to achieve this subtle relief and distinctive texture in the concrete.
A meeting of technology, craftsmanship, and architecture—where the material itself becomes a medium of expression.

Le carassonnage, c’est redonner structure aux rangs de vigne. Remplacer les piquets, retendre les fils porteurs, réaligner les rangs et renforcer l’ensemble pour soutenir la vigne dans sa croissance. Un geste technique, précis et indispensable à la solidité du vignoble.

Certains millésimes s’imposent avec naturel.
Notre 2015 est de ceux-là. Année solaire, maturité juste, équilibre précis : il révèle une profondeur de fruits noirs, une touche florale délicate, des tanins soyeux et une finale longue, harmonieuse, tout en fraîcheur.
À l’image de la Saint-Valentin, il parle d’intensité maîtrisée, de profondeur et de constance. Un vin qui se choisit pour marquer un moment, et qui continue de se révéler avec le temps.

Avant, la parcelle à nu. Puis le temps du geste, celui de la plantation, précis et patient. Aujourd’hui, les rangs sont en place et le paysage a déjà changé. Au sommet du pigeonnier, la statue de Saint Valéry veille. Depuis des siècles, il observe ces coteaux évoluer, les saisons passer, les vignes disparaître, renaître, se transformer. Ici, le vignoble n’est jamais figé. Il se réinvente, se transmet, s’enracine à nouveau.

Before, bare land. Then the time of the gesture — planting, precise and patient. Today, the rows are in place and the landscape has already changed. At the top of the dovecote, the statue of Saint Valéry watches over the vineyard. For centuries, he has seen these slopes evolve, seasons pass, vines disappear, return, and transform. Here, the vineyard is never fixed. It renews itself, is passed on, and takes root once again.

La lumière change, et le domaine avec elle. Les couleurs s’installent, les lignes deviennent plus nettes, le calme reste. Un lieu que l’on traverse doucement, en laissant le regard faire le reste. Bélair-Monange, au rythme du matin.
