🇫🇷 L’histoire de Vignobles Gabriel & Co s’ouvre avec celle d’un homme et d’un domaine : en 1904, Gabriel Bruneteau fonde la propriété « Domaine du Grand Moulin » à Saint-Aubin-de-Blaye, guidé par sa passion pour le vin et pour les gens. En 1985, Jean-François Réaud, arrière-arrière-petit-fils de Gabriel, reprend le domaine de son aïeul avec pour ambition de développer et moderniser le vignoble. So

uhaitant s’éloigner du système de négoce bordelais, il rassemble plusieurs vignerons voisins, à la fin des années 1990. C’est la naissance de Vignobles Gabriel & Co, un collectif atypique.

🇬🇧 The history of Vignobles Gabriel & Co started with a man and an estate: in 1904, Gabriel Bruneteau founded the “Domaine du Grand Moulin” at Saint-Aubin-de-Blaye, guided by his passionate interest in wine and people. In 1985, Gabriel Bruneteau's great great grandson, Jean-François Réaud, inherited the estate, determined to develop and modernize the vineyard. Wishing to move away from the traditional wine trade system of Bordeaux, he brought together several neighbouring estates, by the end of the 1990s. It was the birth of Vignobles Gabriel & Co, a bold collective.

🍇 [ Growing fast! ]

🚀 Christophe Porcher’s baby Merlot berries are growing bigger every day. Fast... maybe even a little too fast!

In his vineyards, Christophe is already seeing nearly a month's advance compared to a typical year. The grape clusters are now approaching the bunch closure stage.

☀️🔥 The harvest potential looks promising and the vines are in great shape. But nothing is guaranteed yet. With the recent heat, the vines may suffer from water stress, and some berries could start to shrivel.

🙏 As is often the case in our profession, everything now depends on the balance between sunshine, rain and patience.

[ En coulisses ]
🌿 Hier, nous étions dans les vignes de Pierre Faytout, notre vigneron partenaire à Castillon-la-Bataille !
🍇 En ce moment, la vigne est au stade de la fermeture de la grappe. Les grains se développent et se resserrent progressivement pour former une grappe compacte.
👀 Dans sa parcelle de Cabernet Franc tout juste rognée, Pierre est en pleine observation pour suivre l’évolution de ses grappes au plus près.
✂️ Petit rappel : Quand on rogne, on coupe l’extrémité des rameaux devenus trop longs pour maîtriser la végétation et aider la vigne à concentrer son énergie sur le développement des raisins.

Fair for Life is a fair trade certification audited by Ecocert. It ensures that the entire value chain, from the winegrowers to the final consumer, follows strict ethical standards.

💰 The Development Fund: every bottle counts!

Each year, 1% of our sales is allocated to a Development Fund managed directly by the winegrowers within our collective.
The goal is simple: to finance projects that help improve our vineyards and strengthen our shared commitment.

On this International Day for Biological Diversity, we are proud to announce that Château Canteloup Lestage has officially been certified organic since the 2025 vintage 🍇

A great milestone for Didier, Patrice and Cédric Sicaud, three passionate brothers who craft this Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux with authenticity and deep respect for their terroir 🤝

Behind this certification are 3 years of vineyard conversion, hard work and commitment to protecting biodiversity and producing wines that respect nature 🐝🌱

Dans les rangs, plusieurs plantes travaillent naturellement le sol :
🌱 le radis blanc aide à le décompacter en se dégradant

🌿 la vesce et la féverole, des légumineuses, captent l’azote de l’air pour nourrir la terre naturellement

« Je voulais changer les choses » 🍷
Quand Jean-François reprend les 7 hectares familiaux dans les années 80, il hérite d’une grande responsabilité : faire vivre une histoire familiale commencée en 1904. 🌿
Il replante, il restructure, il modernise.
Mais rapidement, il comprend une chose : un vigneron ne peut pas tout faire tout seul.
Alors il décide de tendre la main aux domaines voisins pour s’entraider dans la commercialisation 🤝
Pas pour devenir une grosse machine.
Pas pour effacer les identités.
Pour avancer ensemble.
C’est comme ça qu’est né Vignobles Gabriel & Co à la fin des années 1990 🍇✨
