ABOUT US
I spent many summer months as a child with my grandfather in the South of France, he would talk for hours with great passion about wine and even let me try a little. I remember travelling on the train across Europe and seeing the Swiss Alps terraced vineyards covered in snow, by the age of 16 I was hooked. My life has since been dedicated to making wine. First things first, I studied Wine Science at Brighton University - Plumpton College, graduating in 2010. Then I went on a mission to travel the world making wine in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere, following the vintages. I ended up in Bordeaux, California, South Africa, South of France, New Zealand, Germany and Australia. Working for a variety of large wine companies, such as, Chateau Bauduc, Kendal Jackson, Dr loosen, Orign Swift, Delegatâs (Oyster Bay), Angove Family Wines and Penfolds. In 2014 I decide it was time to bring what I had learnt from all over the world and create my premiere vintage, RES FORTES. I chose the Roussillon region between the villages of Maury and Tautavel in the South of France as the place the for my first vintage. Res Fortes was born. My Misson now is to grow RES FORTES into an environmental and sustainable brand, only producing quality wines from around the world. I dedicate this wine to those who have a passion in life. To follow their dreams and do not stop until it comes a reality.
