Second of three Korean lunches done. Thank you to everyone who made it such a pleasure to cook today. I am loving putting together these Korean flavours. It was a little hectic in the kitchen at times so we only have one picture! A big thank you to Kai for always being so calm!

Our next lunch was going to be Japanese but we've decided instead to do an Indian themed lunch. Dates will be sent out to the contact list next week. Thank you again to everyone, it's always such fun to do these lunches.

First Korean meal yesterday. Lots of fun (if a bit hectic in the kitchen at times!). Thank you to everyone who made it a really enjoyable experience. And thank to Kai for explaining the good. Not many pictures. Two more to go. Looking forward to the next one.

As you know, we have been offering wine and drinks at our lunches and suppers for some time, alongside guests bringing their own.

However, we have recently been advised that our licence only permits us to serve alcohol that we provide ourselves. This means that wine or other alcohol brought by guests cannot be consumed at our events.

From now on, all drinks will therefore be supplied by us.

We are very pleased to be working with our local producer, Le Cat, whose wine will be our house wine. In addition, we will also be offering a small selection of more up-market wines, including a Mâcon-Villages and a Morgon. Wines will be available by the glass, carafe or bottle, all at reasonable prices. We will also offer beer related to the menu. So, for the upcoming Korean meal we will have Korean beer to buy.

We hope this will keep things simple and consistent for everyone, while also supporting a local business.

Lovely day today for our second Thai Lunch Club event. Great to see old freinds and welcome new ones. Hopefully the food was OK too. Lots of interest in our Planned Korean Lunch. Dates will be sent out to everyone on our contact list on Monday evening and then posted here.

Our first Thai Lunch today. Both kai and I really enjoyed it. A new cuisine for us and we hope everyone found something today that they liked and that the overall experience of meeting up with with old 'Plaisirs' friends and meeting new ones was enjoyable. Its always a joy to cook for such an appreciative group. "Taan hâi à-ròi ná" (eat well in Thai, a bit like bon appetite).
