🎣 CLOVER LAKE CATCH UP | 22-08 ➡️ 29-08 🎣
Clover Lake was certainly a little harder this week, with changing weather and some rain making the fishing more challenging. 🌦️🌧️
The lads had to put in the work for their bites, but their effort definitely paid off, with some lovely carp making their way onto the bank! 🐟💪

It was a challenging week on Orchid Lake, but the lads made the most of their trip and kept working hard. 💪🎣

🎣 ROSE MERE CATCH UP | 22-08 ➡️ 29-08 🎣
It wasn’t the easiest week on Rose Mere, with the changing weather conditions making the fishing a little more challenging. 🌦️
But the lads stuck at it and managed to put a few nice carp on the bank! 💪🐟
Sometimes you have to work hard for those bites, which makes every fish even more rewarding. 👌

🎣 ORCHID LAKE CATCH UP | 15–22 AUGUST 🎣
What a week for the young lads on Orchid Lake! 👊🐟
The boys came straight down from the Event Kontender to fish Orchid Lake, joined by their dad for a well-earned week of fishing.
They certainly weren’t afraid to mix things up either! Starting the week in Swims 1 & 2, they kept an eye on what was happening around the lake and, halfway through the session, decided to move over to Swims 3 & 4.
And what a decision it turned out to be! 🔥
The move definitely paid off, with some lovely Orchid Lake carp making their way to the bank. Great angling from the lads and a brilliant example of being prepared to move when the fish tell you to! 🎯
👏 Well done lads — great fishing and some cracking carp!

🌹 ROSE MERE CATCH UP | 15–22 AUGUST 🌹
Another busy week on Rose Mere, with the lads enjoying plenty of action and some lovely carp making their way to the bank! 🎣🔥
The majority of the catches were in the 20s and 30s, but with plenty of bites and rods producing throughout the week, there was never a dull moment!
A great week of fishing and some cracking Rose Mere carp to show for it. 🐟💪

🐟 LILLY POOL CATCH UP | 15–22 AUGUST 🐟
Another great week on Lilly Pool, with some seriously nice carp making their way to the bank! 🎣🔥
The rain finally arrived last week — and plenty of it! 🌧️💦 After the recent dry and warm weather, it was certainly welcome and hopefully gives the lakes a much-needed boost.
A big well done to everyone who fished Lilly Pool and managed to catch some of its incredible carp. What a stunning selection of fish! 👏🐟

🔥 CLOVER LAKE CATCH UP | 15–22 AUGUST 🔥
What a week on Clover Lake! 🎣
Some fantastic fishing throughout the week, with plenty of action and, most importantly, some incredible carp making their way to the bank! 🤩🐟
A massive well done to everyone involved — hard work, good angling and some seriously impressive fish!

🔥 A SESSION TO REMEMBER ON CLOVER LAKE! 🔥
Last week’s session for is one he’ll remember for a very long time! 🎣
Fishing Dead Tree on Clover Lake with his mate, the week started with a good feeling. After a walk around the lake with bailiff James and coming out first in the draw, they opted for Dead Tree — and with rain forecast after the recent hot weather, they were confident the fish could switch on.
Jack settled into the right-hand side of the swim, with rods spread across the open water, a fizzing spot and the far margin.
And what followed was an incredible run of carp! 🤯
The first night produced a 35lb mirror, before the action really started to build.
Then came:�🐟 A couple of low–mid 30s�🐟 ‘Chunky’ – 51lb�🐟 ‘Big Dave’ – 52.2lb�🐟 ‘Crinkle Tail’ – 49lb 12oz�🐟 And finally… ‘Emma’ – 49lb 4oz 🤩
That last fish came just after midday on Friday. After a busy morning producing three more bites, Jack finally hit the pillow — only to be woken by another screaming take!
As the fish went over the net cord, he knew it was something special… and he certainly wasn’t disappointed!
🎣 19 bites — 16 carp landed!
Jack used a Ronnie rig with a double 15mm wafter, fished over a large spread of DNA The Bug with h**p and corn.
What a session, what a result and what a lake! 💪🔥
Massive well done Jack and mate — Dead Tree certainly delivered!
