After months of soul searching I have now passed the business on to Sarah and Ryan; they will continue to trade under the Mad Mike’s brand and offer all your favourites including Cowboy Candy via the website and face to face at shows and festivals!!
This weekend they are at the Christchurch Cheese and Chilli Festival so please go and see them and say hello!!

Ever wanted to run your own business?
Following a health scare last year I’ve decided to take a step back from the business to concentrate on my family’s future; however, I would really like the brand to continue so I’m offering an out of the box package for someone to make it their own.
Website and Domain name - online shop has been trading for 6 years and has an established customer base with many repeat sales.
Everything needed to make the jam, pans, induction hobs etc.
Recipes for all flavours.
Contact details for jars, labels and ingredients.
Full market set up including gazebo, tables, display stand, branding materials etc
Van, 2015 Vauxhall Vivaro with MOT until November.

I have made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to wind down Mad Mike’s; following my health scare last year I have been considering the future and what that looks like for me, unfortunately i cannot commit to the time and effort the brand deserves and I also don’t want to let any of my fantastic customers down by not being able to deliver what they have come to expect.
I still have stock available so please visit the shop on the website to get your jam before it goes.

However; the story may not end here!!
Following discussions with friends, family and fans of the brand I would like to put feelers out to anyone that would like to run their own business making and selling Chilli Jam.
I can offer an out of the box option with everything you would need including pans, induction hobs, recipes, website, van, gazebo, etc etc.

Let me start by thanking everyone that wished me well over the past few months, your kind words and love of what I do has helped get me through one of the most difficult times of my life.
After much deliberation and soul searching I’ve decided I can’t give up my passion; I love what I do and believe in my products so I’m coming back!!
I’ve had to make some radical changes over the past few months which will have an impact on what I do going forward, not least of which is I’ve got to find a commercial kitchen to hire a couple of times a week/month not too far from me so I can continue to cook my jam!!
So……………Watch this space for more news, but the sooner I can cook the sooner they will be available to buy!!
