☀️🎂HOT WEATHER CAKE CARE🎂 ☀️

With the temperatures soaring, we wanted to share a few tips to help keep your cakes looking and tasting their best!

🍰 Keep your cake refrigerated until around 30 minutes before serving.

❄️ Transport it in an air-conditioned car if possible, and avoid leaving it in a hot vehicle—even for a few minutes. We recommend placing your cake in the passenger footwell with the AC on as this is the flattest part of the car.

🌳 Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from warm windows or radiators. Heat can quickly soften buttercream and fondant.

📦 Leave your cake in its box until you’re ready to display or serve it. The box helps protect it from heat and humidity.

🍴 If you’re celebrating outdoors, keep the cake inside until it’s time to cut it.

This weather is unbearable for us, and even more unbearable for the cakes☀️ Thank you for following these tips, please enjoy your celebrations 🤩

🚨We’re so sorry, but due to the extreme heat and the weather showing no signs of improving, we will be closing the bakery today at 2:00pm.

The conditions inside the bakery have become unbearable, and the safety and wellbeing of our staff must come first ☀️

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you so much for your understanding and continued support. We hope to be back to normal as soon as possible.

Stay safe and keep cool, hopefully next week we will be back to our usual opening hours. Thank you for your understanding ☺️
