Meet the Animals & Cow Tour - Sunday 21st June

Farm animal cuddles, calf adventures and a trailer ride, what's not to love?"

Come and meet the Tamala Farm gang! Spend time with our friendly animals, from cheeky goats and curious donkeys to our ponies and other farm favourites. There are no stopwatches here. You're free to spend your visit getting to know the animals, taking photos, asking questions and enjoying the farm at your own pace.

Then it's time for an adventure! Hop aboard the quad bike trailer and join Aileen for a ride around the farm. You'll head out to meet our award-winning pedigree Limousin cattle and their calves, hear some farm tales, learn what makes them so special, and get a behind-the-scenes look at life on a real working farm.

Every tour is a little different. The animals have minds of their own, the calves are always growing, and there's usually plenty of mischief along the way!

On Wednesday 10th June, we were delighted to attend Kids Out Aberdeen, and what an amazing day it was!

We met so many wonderful children, shared stories about our animals, and loved seeing everyone's excitement when learning about life on the farm. Seeing all those smiles reminded us exactly why we do what we do. 🐴🐑

A huge thank you to the organisers for inviting us and to everyone who stopped by to chat. We had an absolute blast and hope we brought a little bit of farm magic to your day. ✨

We had a fantastic time attending the Orchard Brae School Fayre on Saturday 6th June.

It was lovely meeting so many families, chatting about our animals, and sharing a little bit of what makes Tamala Farm special. From familiar faces to brand-new ones, thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat. 🐐🐴🐑

Events like these are a wonderful reminder of how supportive our local community is, and we're so grateful to have been part of such a brilliant day.

Come and spend an hour getting up close with all our friendly farm animals. Give cuddles, make new furry friends, learn their names, and discover who the real troublemakers are around the farm (spoiler alert: it's usually the goats! 😆).

Unlike many animal experiences, there's no rushing from pen to pen. Spend your time however you like and enjoy meeting the animals at your own pace.

🐴💕 Why do children absolutely LOVE Pony Time at Tamala Farm? 💕🐴

Because for 45 magical minutes, they get to become Autumn's special helper!

Our adorable miniature Falabella, Autumn, isn't just cute (although she definitely is 😍) She's gentle, friendly and loves making new friends.

During Pony Time, children can:

✨ Build confidence around animals
✨ Learn how to groom and care for a pony
✨ Enjoy some fresh air away from screens
✨ Develop kindness, patience and responsibility
✨ Create memories they'll talk about for weeks afterwards

There's something incredibly special about seeing a child's face light up when a pony trusts them enough to stand quietly for a groom, take a treat from their hand, or walk alongside them.

With small group sizes, every child gets plenty of one-to-one time with Autumn, making it a relaxed, personal experience rather than a busy attraction.

Looking for something a little different this weekend?
Join us for Pony Time with our lovely pony Autumn this Sunday (7th June) at 10:30am or 1:30pm.

🌸 Groom and pamper Autumn
🚶 Enjoy a gentle stroll together
🥕 Share some tasty treats
😊 Plenty of smiles, cuddles and confidence-building fun

This unique 45-minute experience is perfect for children aged 5+ (younger children are welcome if they are confident around animals).

🎟️ Two adults attend free with each booking 🎟️ Additional adults just £2.50 🎟️ Limited to only 3 children per session

Can't make this Sunday? Don't worry. Pony Time returns again on Sunday 21st June.

Please note: 🐴 Autumn loves attention but cannot be ridden. 🐴 Pony Time is a standalone experience and does not include access to other farm activities.
