Lindores Core Single Malt has had a beautiful rebrand, celebrating the Abbey's widely recognised links to the earliest written reference of Scotch Wh**ky (or Aqua Vitae as it was then known) in 1494.

We are big fans, as our ability to successfully convert the roman numerals 'MCDXCIV' into the correct date was always a bit shoogly!

Same spirit. Still 100% Fife Made. New label.

The Sideways effect!

22 years ago when the movie "Sideways" was released, Miles played by Paul Giamatti uttered the now famous quote "I'm leaving if anyone orders Merlot. I'm not drinking any f*?!ing Merlot".

Miles grape of choice was Pinot Noir. Specifically Californian Pinot Noir from Sanford w**ery. (His ex drank Merlot!)

The statement had a measurable on the sales of Merlot & Pinot Noir. Pinot sales increased by 170%, whilst Merlot decreased by 2%.

We have some very clever customers!

Behold the Aberdour Flower Show winning entry for the category of "Vegetable Animals", which made a wee visit to The Drinks Cabinet Aberdour on the way home.

Unfortunately neither the broccoli or cauliflower had brought their ID, so no w**e was imbibed!
