After a rainy start to June, we’re finally kicking off our first markets of the month – and we can’t wait to see all your lovely faces! ❤️

📍 Sunday 21/6 – Insole Court, Cardiff (CF5 2PN) | 10am–4pm

🍚 Nasi Lemak – Malaysia’s beloved street food. Fragrant coconut rice, homemade sambal 🌶️, crispy anchovies and crunchy peanuts. If you’ve been missing it, this one’s for you!

🥩 Beef Rendang – Our best-seller! Still beautifully authentic, but now with a little extra sauce thanks to requests from our lovely customers. The perfect excuse to mop up every last drop with rice! 🍚✨

🥚 Braised Pork Belly & Eggs – Rich, comforting and made with our improved recipe.

❗️ Cwmbran Market – Saturday 6th June CANCELLED ❗️

After reviewing the latest forecast, we’ve had to make the difficult call to cancel tomorrow’s market.

Wind gusts are predicted to reach up to 39mph, and our safety guidelines and insurance only permit us to trade up to 35mph. Anything above that becomes unsafe for everyone on site.

High winds at this level can cause:

• Gazebos to lift or collapse, even when fully weighted
• Stock to blow, fall, or become airborne, risking injury
• Damage to equipment, traders’ displays, and the surrounding area

Your safety — and our traders’ safety — will always come first. We know this is disappointing, but it’s the right call for everyone’s wellbeing.

Unfortunately, our first market of June has been cancelled due to the weather 🌧️💨

We were so excited to kick off the month and serve our delicious Malaysian favourites, but the safety of traders and visitors comes first. ❤️

✨ Thank you, Abergavenny ❤️✨

Every last Thursday of the month, 5–9pm, you’ll find us at the Abergavenny Night Market 🌙✨ — and it’s always a wonderfully busy evening! 🥰🎉

Yesterday was one of those non-stop market days 💨🔥, and I only had just enough time for a quick photo shoot 📸 before heading off to the market 😅🛍️

My husband and son absolutely love Abergavenny Night Market day too… mostly because they know what’s for dinner 🤭🍽️ Their “full-course menu” is always the same:

Oops… I also need to say a little sorry to one lovely customer yesterday 🙏💛 Our coconut rice sold out 😢🥥, and I was so disappointed that I couldn’t serve her Nasi Lemak. Thank you for understanding 🥹 — I’ll make sure to prepare more next time! 💪🍚
