My favourite fruit figs. 💚

Two years ago, Dad had to cut this enormous tree back. Last year, it gave us nothing… but this summer, it surprised us with the sweetest little harvest.

Enough to enjoy fresh and enough for Mum to make my favourite homemade jam, with whole figs and lots of love. ❤️

A little taste of home. 🌿

A little taste of home for breakfast. ❤️
Fresh fruit picked from my family garden in Bulgaria, grown under the warm summer sun and full of the flavours and memories of home. 🍑🌿

Simple, fresh, healthy — and made even sweeter by knowing exactly where it came from. ☀️

A little taste of summer from the garden… 🍑

The medlars aren’t ready yet, but the peach tree is still saving a few heavenly sweet peaches just for me.

If you’ve ever tasted a Bulgarian peach, you’ll know, nothing compares. The sweetest peaches in the world! ☀️

Beautiful day in Aberystwyth, by the harbour, while the rowing race is underway. 🌊🚣‍♂️

Just waiting for the competitors to finish and come over for a well-deserved lunch! 🍲🥓

While we’re waiting for the competitors, the BBQ is loaded with bacon for delicious Bacon Rolls 🥓, and the goulash is cooking away in the slow cookers, ready for lunchtime! 🍲

Good luck to all the competitors! 🚣‍♀️🏆

Another wonderful day at the Aberystwyth Rowing Club Joint League Race! 🚣‍♀️

A heartfelt thank you to Aberystwyth Rowing Club for inviting me back once again to cater for this fantastic event. It is always a pleasure to be part of such a well-organised day and to help keep the rowers, volunteers and supporters well fed.

Thank you for your trust and hospitality. Wishing everyone a successful season, and I hope to see you all again next year! 💙
