A quick reminder that Aberystwyth Town Centre is OPEN AS USUAL over the weekend. And the road closures do not affect access to Chalybeate Street.

Well, not quite the Bank Holiday weekend we had planned!

Unfortunately, our door was kicked in on Saturday night and the property was broken into. Three charity boxes were stolen, but thankfully there was no further damage and nothing else was taken.

We have full CCTV footage of the incident and would like to thank Dyfed-Powys Police for their quick response and support. They were on the scene within minutes. Diolch.

A massive thank you to Tommy Sandford, who left the Big Trib on Saturday night to secure the property, and to Tommy and Austin Ellis-Jones for giving up their Bank Holiday today to fit a temporary door for us. We can’t thank you both enough — diolch bois! 💙

Everything is now cleaned up and the temporary door is fitted, so we’ll be open tomorrow as usual, 8am–5pm. 🙌

Thanks to everyone who has helped us over the last couple of days. We really appreciate it.
