🌿 Really excited to share our second beer with , called Lumière Garden Pale! 🍻

A bright, refreshing non-alcoholic garden pale, gently infused with lemon basil, hand-picked from the grounds of Le Manoir and fermented on spent orange skins from their breakfast service – a quiet nod to their circular cooking philosophy. It offers a delicate citrus complexity and a light malty finish that celebrates the Le Manoir garden it came from: its terroir, its rhythm, and the hands that shaped it. Brewed with l’art de vivre in mind. 🍋🍃🍊✨️

It will be available in their restaurant, bars, and on selected Belmond Group train routes, with limited stock available from our events. 🍻🌿

🌿 From garden to table — and now, Le Manoir garden to glass. 🍺

We’re incredibly proud to introduce one of two special beers that we’ve been working on over the past few months with the lovely and wonderful team at .

For over four decades, Le Manoir has been a pioneer of gastronomy, sustainability and seasonality in the heart of Oxfordshire, with at the helm. They’re the original garden-to-table — so we wanted to create a new beer style to celebrate this ethos in a whole new way.

The first is our Verveine Garden Table Beer: a vibrant pale, infused with lemon verbena from the grounds of Le Manoir. Shaped by the seasons and hand-picked at its most fragrant, the verbena adds an uplifting verve that is firmly rooted in place.

Backed by a blend of the finest malts and dry hopped with the freshest Motueka hops, it makes for a satisfying beer to pair with good food and good company.

It will be available in their restaurant, bars, and on selected Belmond Group train routes, with limited stock available at our events. 🍻🌿

🚲 Bike beers up for grabs! 🍻

People often ask where we get our brewing inspiration. The kitchen plays a big role for sure, but getting out into nature on two wheels comes a close second. We love a good food and beer pairing, but we think a good beer and bike pairing deserves a shout out too.

There’s nothing quite like a whip of fresh air to sweep away the cobwebs and spark some new ideas. It’s where some of our best ideas come from. And a beer reward to cap it off doesn’t hurt either.

We’ve been impressed by some recent click-and-collect orders by bike recently, especially in this not-so-fair weather. So, for any click and collect orders on two wheels at Bothy Vineyard this month, we’ll throw in an extra beer when you roll up, if you add Bike Beers to your order comments. 🙌

Looking forward to pouring beers at North Aston Farm Shop’s opening this Saturday! 🍻

They’re all about proper produce with no frills — and they don’t need any. Down to earth and rooted in community, they focus on good food that’s fairly traded, regeneratively produced, and honestly sold. You’ll find seasonal organic ingredients and carefully chosen products from trusted local producers. 🥔🥕🫑🍠🥒🥚

But it’s not just a place to shop — it’s a welcoming space to pause and connect, where you can grab a drink and enjoy a book upstairs or catch up with friends by their picnic benches.

They used to run pop-up farm shops on site, so it will be welcome news to many that it’ll now be a permanent fixture, open from Fri-Sun. Their last pop-up drew in droves that wiped us out of six packs, so we’ll be sure to bring extra this time around, but feel free to DM us if you’d like to pre-order yours for collection this Saturday.

🍻 Thursday Tasting at 🍻

We often get asked for bar recommendations in Oxford, and Popina by Lynrace always makes the cut. Its warm, golden glow will draw you right in, from Jericho’s trendy Walton street. The team is equally warm and always eager to share the latest libations to make their carefully curated list - always keeping it fresh and interesting, alongside the solid classics as well.

We love to work with places that we love to go to ourselves, so we’re stoked to be doing a tasting at Popina on Thursday, 12 November from 7pm. 🙌

Their intimate space is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed session of six Earth Ale beers, share some beer bants and meet some friendly new faces. 🍻

This month marks 's first anniversary in Oxford, so we wanted to give a big shout out to the lovely crew! 🎂

One year on, the food is just as comforting, the welcome just as warm and the vibes still buzzing. Here are a few throwbacks to just one of many delicious meals we’ve had over the past year, pairing our Permit Room x Earth Ale collab beer: Rhubarb & Fig Leaf Gose.

If you haven’t had the chance to try it yet, expect rolling waves of bright rhubarb and subtle undercurrents of fig leaf, cut with a touch of . The refreshing tartness and sea salt kick pairs beautifully with their flavourful dishes and velvety desserts.

Happy birthday month, Oxford crew! 🍻

When we’re not brewing grains, we love treating ourselves to the baked kind. 🥐 is our go-to when we’re out Kent ways, and recently, they expanded their space to offer even more artisan bakes, great coffee, pantry staples, sweet florals and seating. We’re stoked that our Verbs non-alcoholic table pale is also joining the lineup in their fridges! 🍻🌿

And if we didn’t already love everything Halstead is about, the super talented is now on the decks too! If Halstead’s not already on your radar, consider this your sign to save it to your Google list.📍

P.S. Swipe to see the amazing birthday cake the Halstead crew baked for us a few years back. 🎂
