A big thankyou to the kind customer who decided to pay us with a fake £20 note today 🙃
As a small independent business, things like this genuinely have an impact. We work hard, our staff work hard, and deliberately passing counterfeit money means we’re the ones left out of pocket.
We’ll be extra vigilant from now on and checking notes carefully.
To the person who passed it we hope whatever you bought was worth it. 👍

And to all of our genuine, honest customers who continue to support us, thank you. We really do appreciate you. ❤️

We're absolutely buzzing that we made the top 10 of the Lancashire Telegraph Best Bakery 2026 😁

As the proud new owners, we honestly couldn’t be happier just to have been considered and nominated for this.
To have only just taken over the bakery and already receive this kind of support from our customers and community means so much to us.

We just want to give a massive THANK YOU to everyone who nominated us and helped us reach the final! 🏆

We also want to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing staff. Their hard work, dedication and support every day are a massive part of the bakery, and we couldn’t do it without them.

The final vote will be through the Lancashire Telegraph, so if you’d like to support us, you’ll need to obtain a copy of the paper and complete the voting slip. 🗞️🗳️

Whatever happens from here, we’re incredibly proud just to be finalists, especially so early into our journey as the new owners.
