Addingham Fruit Liqueurs

Addingham Fruit Liqueurs Home-made fruit gin liqueurs. Locally made... totally delicious!

Set in the picturesque, rural village of Addingham on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, Addingham Fruit Liqueurs makes good use of all nature has to offer. Introduced to Sloe Gin by her late father-in-law several years ago, (Alan was born in Edinburgh, hence the tartan on the label as a nod to him) Fiona decided to set up the business idea following encouragement from friends and family w

ho tried the delicious recipes she was creating from the family kitchen. Having suffered a spinal stroke a few summers ago, she decided to take her cottage-industry business to the next level rather than get a 'proper 9-5 job' as she found that running a business from home fits in perfectly with her limited mobility. All our liqueurs are made using primarily locally sourced, picked or even foraged natural ingredients to create some truly delicious recipes. Our Range of fruit liqueurs:

Sloe Gin
Blackberry Gin
Blackcurrant Gin
Cranberry & Orange Gin
Damson Gin
Gooseberry & Elderflower Gin (using our home-made Elderflower cordial)
Rhubarb Gin

Our liqueurs are sold under licence and are priced at just £22 for a 50cl bottle. Available direct from us (please call us or drop us an email) or also available through a number of local stockists.....see Our Story!

We love a trip out, so off we went for a little trundle to meet the lovely Fiona, who handmakes her liqueurs,, for Addingham Liqueurs.
These are great for that long summer drink, Ice, fruit and soda, all natural and delicious, or for that weekend treat, pimp your prosecco, , with the gorgeous Blackcurrant or maybe Blackberry, I promise, summer is on the way.

You'll find them on our stalls from this weekend!
Which reminds me, we are at Elvington for the mini championships, Saturday and Sunday, and Darlington Dog Festival on Sunday.

I posted pictures from a recent visit of the Caledonian Hotel and former Princes Street Station at the West End. The building, originally a single storey and named after the Caledonian railway company was extended to accommodate the hotel above the station so many of the station features on the ground floor are still visible, such as the ticket office, the station clock (set five minutes fast to avoid passengers missing their train) and the tunnel, now an arched window at the back of the restaurant. I was so overwhelmed with the interest on an Edinburgh page which attracted over 1800 likes (and still rising) that I’m posting on Instagram and even contemplating whether to set up my own Edinburgh Facebook group. Hope you enjoy these of an Edinburgh institution and huge thanks to the staff who allowed me a little wander around
