“Come escape reality for the evening, it will be good for the soul!”
I wrote this in the caption of my last post for our truffle making event this Thursday.
That quote inspired me to go a little deeper on this idea, explaining what exactly that means to me. 👇🏼
When you are making chocolates with me you are being creative, whether you are good at it or not doesn’t matter, the point is you are not thinking about anything else, you are separate from your reality, whatever that means to you. It’s good for the soul to escape for a little while.
The same goes for me too, in that moment I’m just having fun, collaborating with great people, sharing ideas, thoughts, stories and creating, it’s where some of my best ideas come from, because there’s no resistance to it, no rules, just fun, working with new people is how I learn and how I get inspired, it’s where I get my energy from.
The team at Brook Lane Coffee Co bring so much energy, enthusiasm, passion and it’s all so infectious, I can’t wait to see what else we come up with aside from the espresso martini truffles on Thursday, we could invent some totally unique the world has never seen or tasted. 🤔
