While some of us have been slaving away in this heatwave, others have been a bit too relaxed…

With the boss on holiday, it’s been all hands on deck to keep the plants (and workers) happy and watered! The tomatoes are thriving and we’ve already got some fruit appearing in the tunnels 🍅
Harvest days are ramping up now, with veg bags and wholesale customers starting to enjoy a wider range of new season veg 🫛

Another busy week in the market garden! We smashed through some bed building early in the week despite the wet weather, ready for planting more salads and squash 🎃
Harvest day was a busy one now that our veg boxes are back up and running, spring onions and beetroot galore! 🫜
Lots of our new season veg is starting to appear now, with our overwintered broad beans swelling before our eyes! 🫛

Veg boxes are back this week! 🫛🫜🌶️
After a small break over the hungry gap, we’re back with a glorious bounty of organic veg for our customers to enjoy.
In the medium veg box this week, there will be a bag of our Mixed Salad, a bunch of Spring Onions, Beetroot, Red Russian Kale, Coriander, Parsley, Chillis and the first Sugarsnap Peas of the season!! 🫛

It’s that time of year again!! 🐛🐛🐛
A couple of weeks ago we successfully (and quite efficiently) moved our Caterpillar Tunnel for the second time this year. It had finished its job bringing on our early spinach, carrots and courgettes, and now that it’s had a good clean is now home to some of our other tomato varieties (Orange Banana, Purple Ukraine, Pozzano and Ox Heart) aswell as agretti and more courgettes 🍅

Following the huge success of our Annual Spring Plant Sale, we thought we’d say hello to anyone who’s only just hearing of us, and give you the rundown on what exactly we do here at Cotswold Market Garden.
Between our veg boxes, wholesale customers, farm shop and Plant Sale, and we’re always busy providing fresh, organic and (most importantly) delicious veg to the local area.
