The Tattie Box can easily be found at Millcraig Farm next to the main through road. Please park next to the Tattie Box.
Keep in mind this is a working farm and take due care in respect of vehicles and machinery. Children should be accompanied at all times.

Well Jack Davidson had our 4 Webber Scanstone destoner hitting 6 kph today in our last field to plant.
I could not catch him up with planter!! Late nite for me.!!
Fantastic destoner by Scanstone.
Got new speed hood extension for Grimme planter fitted today.
Helping to form better ridge with this dry soil conditions.

Had a demo of a Dewulf self propelled potato harvester today from Netherton tractors.
A very impressive machine, good production with the 7 ton hopper and so gental handing with potatoes.
A big thank you to Netherton tractor and to Ryan Pattullo for the demo.
Had a demo of one New Holland cx 8.80 today from Ravenhill.
One impressive combine for a straw walker machine. A delight to operate.

New sprayer performing well and a delight to operate.
Crop are also not looking too bad with this hot dry weather!!βοΈ

***VACANCY***
Tractor Driver/ Farm Worker
We currently have a vacancy for the above position.
The successful candidate must be a hard working and reliable person who has previous experience working within the farming industry. Principle tasks include cultivating, fertiliser spreading, combining and relief sprayer operation in addition to general tractor work, machinery and estate maintenance.
Experience of working with potato crops would be advantageous but training can be provided.
Ability and willingness to be flexible and work overtime during busy periods is essential as is the ability to be organised and to work using your own initiative when required.
Qualifications required are:
β’ Full UK driving licence
β’ PA1 and PA2 certificates
Counterbalance/Telehandler certificates would also be preferable.
Salary is dependant on skills and experience/qualifications.
