🍗 Our KFC isn't the one you're thinking of 😏

Korean Fried Chicken 🇰🇷 house blend marinated, then dipped in egg, coated in flour, finished with freshly blended breadcrumbs. Three layers, zero shortcuts 🙌

My team low key hates prepping this one 😅 but that's exactly why it comes out this crispy, this golden, miles above your usual battered chicken 🔥

Two ways to have it:
🍗 KFC with a creamy sriracha, gochujang mayo sauce
🍛 Katsu Curry Chicken, served with a pot of our rich, slow-simmered curry sauce

We've got a favour to ask, Alton. 🙏

We know 106 High Street is a listed building, standing since around the 1700s but we don't actually know much about what it looked like before Man's Chinese moved in, or what was here before us.

Does anyone have an old photo of this building or the shop itself, whatever it used to be? Doesn't matter how old, how blurry, or what it shows.

We've never told anyone how we make this. Until now. 🙏

Most people assume sweet and sour sauce comes from a jar. A mixture of this and that, heated up, poured over. Job done. Ours doesn't.

When my father Ronald took over this kitchen, the previous owner passed down one recipe above everything else. The sweet and sour sauce. It came with a technique most people would never bother with — frying the vegetables first, slowly 🔥, until the aroma builds properly.

Only then does the stewing begin. Hours, not minutes ⏳, with our house blend seasoning that has never been written down and has never left this kitchen.

Bobby has refined it over 25 years. His sons grew up eating it. 👨‍🍳 It is the dish that tells the story of this family more than any other.

You won't taste the difference because you can analyse it. You'll taste the difference because something in it just feels right. ❤️That's 27 years of one family, one kitchen, one sauce.
