Demo dishing! 🍴🥘

Events season is still in full flow and im in danger of having a full camera roll but not getting any of the grid 🤣🤣

Had an absolutely awesome time the weekend before last at the first incarnation of The Big Retreat Cambridgeshire

Ive had the privilege of being involved in their home Pembrokeshire event for half a decade now but it was so lovely seeing it expand a find a second home to bring the feel good to even more people.

I was speaking, hosting, interviewing some inspiring humans but also found myself on the kitchen stage too. Cooking up a chilli on the Jetboil Genesis Basecamp setup. Kwoklyn Wan & Jo Wan were the hosts with the most on this stage and always give a warm welcome.

Thank you to everyone who watched, chatted at the end and even purchased books. A joy to be able to demonstrate.

🍳🏕️ MEET OUR GUEST JUDGE! 🏕️🍳

We’re delighted to announce that Harrison Ward, aka Fell Foodie, will be joining us as Guest Judge for this year’s Cumbria Scouts County Cooking Competition! 👨‍🍳⛰️

Harrison is well known for combining two rather excellent ingredients: the great outdoors and great food. He’ll be putting our Scout and Explorer teams’ creations to the test and helping us crown our 2026 County Cooking Competition champions. 🏆

📅 Saturday 28th November 2026
📍 Ratlingate Scout Centre

Teams will be challenged to show off their cooking skills, creativity, teamwork and presentation, producing a three-course meal using just a two-ring gas stove. 🔥🍲

Before the competition, why not get a little inspiration? Go to Harrison's YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/ on YouTube and check out some of Harrison’s outdoor cooking adventures. You might just pick up an idea or two for your competition menu! 📺🥘

Who’s ready to cook up something worthy of our guest judge? 👀

AD - A glimpse of what’s coming next for and

In my role as a proud Volvo ambassador, I travelled down to Morecambe to get a closer look at the new fully electric Volvo EX60 as part of Volvo's current Eden Project tour.

At the top of the range, the new Volvo EX60 P12 offers up to 503 miles of electric range and can add up to 211 miles in around 10 minutes on a fast charger. Inside, Google Gemini is integrated into the car, alongside Volvo’s new multi-adaptive seatbelt technology.

The Morecambe activation also brought the longstanding Volvo and Eden Project partnership to life through an immersive Human Recharging Station including an anamorphic cube with a breathwork experience designed to give visitors a moment to stop and recharge with nature at the forefront.

Opening in 2028, Eden Project Morecambe will be a vibrant regeneration project that will connect people with nature, culture and community.

The Volvo x Eden Project Tour continues to Canary Wharf and Liverpool in September, before heading to Outernet in October.

Go say hello if you can! 🚙⚡️
