Chiltern Farm Food Free Range Pork & Lamb - Sausages - Bacon - Burgers - Game in Season The farm consists of small fields surrounded by hedges and woodland.

Stockings Farm is a mixed arable and livestock family farm of approximately one hundred and
thirty acres set in the beautiful countryside of the Chiltern Hills. Fertilisers and sprays are
only used when there is no reasonable alternative with maximum priority being given to the protection of the wildlife. We have a flock of Hebridean and Suffolk sheep and a mixed herd of traditional breed pigs.

Tom will be at Little Chalfont Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday 8th August, with our free range pork, lamb, bacon, burgers and sausages

We are having a quiet weekend with just Little Chalfont Farmers’ Market on Saturday August 8th, at the Village Hall, Cokes Lane, Little Chalfont HP8 3UD (9am to 1pm). The sun is still shining and it's great picnic weather. Come and stock up on goodies the whole family can enjoy. Our traders this weekend will include:

Life takes on a different tempo when it's hot.

The songbirds, active at dawn, take shelter in their hedgerow homes, and a chorus of crickets serenade from the long grass. The animals all rest (bar curious pigs coming to say hello);pigs in their wallows, sheep tucked into hedgerows. Bees and butterflies flit about the wild flower margins around the farm.

We're busy as usual but grateful for today's breeze bringing some relief from the heat.

With thanks this weekend to our eldest grandson and his friend who have been visiting from Cumbria and enjoying not one but two concerts in London- their help with some of the animal work while they are here has been much appreciated.
