Max has another's full-time job.

I do wish him all the very best for his future.
A year has been an absolute pleasure, with Max helping with setting up and down Alf's Fruit and Veg Plus Alf's Natural Dog Treats.

I am glad I tried to help him after his redundancy, I know many have popped past to say their hello's to Max and interested in what he has been up to.

Alf's Market Stalls: Head down early to Ampthill Market Square (right outside Surfin' Cafe). Alf's Fruit & Veg will be fully stocked with fresh seasonal produce, alongside Alf's Natural Dog Treats for anyone walking their four-legged friends.

11:00 | Pre-Race Fuel: Bacon rolls will be served hot and ready at the starting venue, the Engine and Tender pub.

11:30 | Race Registration: Official registration begins at the Engine and Tender. Pairs need a minimum of £20 in sponsorship to compete, raising money for local and international charity projects.

12:30 / 13:00 | The Race Starts: The iconic fancy-dress race kicks off. Teams must navigate through Ampthill's local pubs—including:
The Albion, The Ossory Arms, The Old Sun, The White Hart, The Prince of Wales, and The Queens Head Ampthill —getting their sheets stamped at each venue.
Finish Line & Beyond

The Wingfield Club: The race concludes at The Wingfield Club on Church Street, featuring BW Deacon Family Butchers (with vegetarian options available), live music, a raffle, and the official medal presentations around 16:00.
