2024 Pigs!
So far it has been disappointing and wet

Update from the pig pen and nursery…. The big pigs are now back out in the field like us they wish it was a bit drier….. The babies who are now 5 weeks old are off the bottle milk and bedding down on straw for the first time after a little ride in the van.
The farmers are now caked in mud and ready for a shower and a drink!!

Update from the pig pen… little one is still showing no signs she is going to farrow anytime soon and both mumma and her are fed up of being in the shed.
What they don’t know is the shed is currently the best place to be as the field is water logged and the farmers sink ankle deep just trying to get to them.

Live from the pig nursery…. Yvette and Zulu are now 3 weeks old and can trash their clean pen in less than 30 seconds. They also refuse to keep their solid food in the bowl but are now happily tucking in to it.

Pig nursery update!… Yvette and Zulu have made it to two weeks old they are now drinking a lot more milk and today they have been introduced to big pig food.
To say thanks they have trashed their room. I guess that’s the farmers afternoon taken care of! 🙄
