2025 has been a year for me to rebuild the stud side of my business and I’ve been incredibly lucky to have two beautifully bred mares to put in foal. Here’s to 2026 and seeing what Dora and Flora produce 🐎🤩

We are very sad, and disappointed, to have to give you the news that we have been advised that as from the end of January Belmoredean will no longer be available for hire to any organisation or individual.
Regrettably , this means all our scheduled show dates at Belmoredean for 2026 will no longer be able to take place.
We are in the process of looking for an alternative venue and will keep you all advised in the coming weeks of progress made and future dates.
Thankyou to Louise and Robbie for hosting us ,so enjoyed running the shows

The shows at Hascombe will go ahead as planned

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but the circumstances are totally beyond our control.

Uma and I headed off to Oaklands today for our last lesson with Leanne Wall for 2025. Working hard on the transitions and suppleness - Uma feels fantastic but I need to work on my quick thinking and response time, the brain fog is noticeable at the moment! We have our first training session of 2026 in a week’s time in preparation to get out to some affiliated shows. Looking forward to carrying some positive momentum into next year and I cannot thank James Austin enough for all his support looking after William whilst I’m riding, helping me get Uma ready each time, and driving me all over the place with Uma - I could not do it without him 🩵

A true legend of the sport. I think we’d all like to be as fit and healthy as him at the age of 70!

Congratulations John Whitaker!
He may have been 50 years senior to his Turkish Airlines grand prix-winning rival Tom Wachman at The London International Horse Show – and have a combined age of 87 with his horse, Equine America Unick Du Francport – but the legend triumphed as the best-placed British rider, flying home for fourth.
Are you sure you've space on your mantelpiece for that gigantic trophy, John?

Uma jumping well in the BS training show at Wellington - getting used to new arenas and Grace is really helping her overcome her ring shyness. Grace will be able to give Uma the time commitment to get her out and about to new places regularly which I just wasn’t able to do, and I will be trying to get Uma out to some new places with some dressage shows next year
